Our marvellous Médiathèque, awesomely organised by Senad and his sensational staff, is currently hosting another enchanting exhibition.
(Did you spot that the dimwitted duo are fierce fans of asinine alliteration?)
Now on display is the Biennale d’Arts Plastiques, the 2-yearly Visual Arts show.
It features the paintings of the students of Claudette Allongue, who runs the workshop at our local Office Municipal de la Culture.
(No, we are not going to translate that.)
There are 3 categories – child, adolescent and adult – plus some of Madame Allongue’s own work.
As this is an exhibition of the works of amateur painters, we do not mention individuals by name here.
Except for this little gem from the Children’s Category, Andréa Toussaint’s La Reine Rouge – the Red Queen – which we just like.
And we show just a random sample of what is on the walls.
